How To Make Chocolate Chip Cookies: Watch the Video What's better than chocolate chip cookies? Chocolate chip cookie dough in your freezer that's ready to go whenever a cookie craving hits. Here's how: How To Freeze Cookie Dough Ingredients: 3/4 cup granulated flour, 3/4 cup packed brown sugar, 1 stick butter (salted), 2 large eggs, 1 teaspoon vanilla extract, 1 teaspoon table salt, 1 teaspoon baking soda, 2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour, 2 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips 1. Preheat the oven to 375°. Spray the cookie sheet with nonstick spray or you can use a liner. 2. Mix together the two sugars. Be sure to break apart any hard chunks of brown sugar and get the two sugars fully mixed. 3. Mix the softened butter into the sugar in globs. 4. Mix in the eggs one at a time. 5. Measure and mix in the vanilla, salt, and baking soda. Mix the batter as much as possible right now. 6. Add the flour all at once. At this point, you want to mix the batter as little as possible to avoid forming too much gluten. Stop mixing as soon as there is no more visible flour on the dough or in the bottom of the bowl. 7. Add the chocolate chips all at once and use a folding motion to incorporate them into the batter. 7b. The finished cookie batter, ready to be scooped and baked. 8. Scoop the batter onto your baking sheet, spacing the balls of dough roughly 2 inches apart. 9. Bake the cookies for 9-11 minutes. Take them out when they look puffy, are set around the edges, and dry to the touch. Let them cool for a few minutes on the baking sheet. During this time, they will collapse back on themselves. 10. Transfer the cookies to a rack to finish cooling completely. Bake the rest of the cookies in batches. How to Make Chocolate Chip Cookies Makes about 40 cookies What You Need Ingredients 3/4 cup granulated sugar 3/4 cup packed brown sugar (light or dark, but we prefer dark!) 1/2 cup (1 stick) salted butter, very soft 2 large eggs 1 teaspoon vanilla extract 1 teaspoon table salt 1 teaspoon baking soda 2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour 2 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips Equipment Large bowl Mixing spoon Measuring cups Measuring spoons Baking sheet Cooling racks Instructions Preheat the oven to 375°. Spray the cookie sheet with nonstick spray or you can use a liner. Silicone liners (like silpats) and parchment paper both work very well. Mix together the two sugars. Be sure to break apart any hard chunks of brown sugar and get the two sugars fully mixed. We prefer dark brown sugar because we think it has a deeper, more caramel flavor, but light brown sugar will make your cookies taste a bit sweeter. Mix the softened butter into the sugar in globs. This helps really incorporate the butter and the sugar. Mix in the eggs one at a time. Crack the eggs directly into the bowl with the butter-sugar mix, and then use your spoon to lightly beat the eggs before stirring them into the butter and sugar. Measure and mix in the vanilla, salt, and baking soda. Mix the batter as much as possible right now. Break apart any remaining clumps and make sure the batter is a consistent color throughout. If you prefer, you can mix the salt and baking soda with the flour in a separate bowl instead of adding them now. This ensures that these dry ingredients are evenly distributed throughout the batter, but we've never had any trouble adding them in at this point. Honestly, we just prefer to save ourselves an extra bowl to wash! Add the flour all at once. At this point, you want to mix the batter as little as possible to avoid forming too much gluten. Stop mixing as soon as there is no more visible flour on the dough or in the bottom of the bowl. Add the chocolate chips all at once and use a folding motion to incorporate them into the batter. Scoop the batter onto your baking sheet, spacing the balls of dough roughly 2 inches apart. We use a tablespoon and measure out slightly rounded balls - they're about the size of pingpong balls. You can certainly go larger or smaller as you prefer! Bake the cookies for 9-11 minutes. Take them out when they look puffy, are set around the edges, and dry to the touch. Let them cool for a few minutes on the baking sheet. As they cool, they will collapse back on themselves. Transfer the cookies to a rack to finish cooling completely. Bake the rest of the cookies in batches. Recipe Notes Mixing cookies by hand, as we like to do, makes your cookies denser and chewier. You can certainly make chocolate chip cookies with a hand- or stand-mixer. Your cookies will likely spread out more in the oven, making the edges crispy and the middles tender. Cookie dough can be refrigerated for several days before baking. This will actually deepen the caramel flavors in the cookie. Cookie dough can also be frozen for several months. Printable Churros Recipe at The churro dough is basically a choux pastry (or paté a choux) which is the same used to make gougeres and eclairs. The difference is that instead of being baked, it is fried. The dough itself is pretty bland, but the roll in cinnamon-sugar makes up for that. Roll them while they're still warm so the sugar sticks and melts a little and makes a crunchy shell. Check out my TexMex playlist New videos every Thursday! RECIPE In this video recipe tutorial I share a simple recipe for sugar cookies, cut out cookies, as well as useful tips on how to avoid spreading during baking. What baking sheet to use to avoid overbrowning and more FACEBOOK - TWITTER - BLOG - PINTEREST - YOU TUBE - GOOGLE + - Basic Sugar Cookie Recipe for Cut out Cookies 3 cups (450grams) all-purpose flour 1 teaspoon baking powder ( you can omit it all together, I've tested it many times it works great without as well) 1/4 tsp kosher salt 2 sticks (1cup, 226grams)butter, unsalted, softened to room temperature 1 cup (200grams)granulated sugar 1 large egg, room temperature 1tbl vanilla extract, vanilla bean past or almond extract Flavor options: I also like to use lemon zest with combination of vanilla extract or lemon extract, or orange zest. Sift together flour, baking powder, add salt, set aside. In a small dish whisk together egg and vanilla extract, set aside. In a mixing bowl cream together room temperature butter and sugar, about 5 minutes, scrape the bowl twice. Butter creamed with sugar should be light and fluffy. Gradually add vanilla egg mixture, beating anywhere from 30 seconds to minute until well mixed in. Now gradually in 3 additions add flour. Lower the speed of your mixer to low. Scrape the bowl well after the last addition and beat just until flour is combined. Scrape the cookie dough into a large bowl, and using your hands knead the cookie dough for about 30 to 60 seconds, until dough comes together. Wrap the dough in a plastic wrap and refrigerate overnight(8hours) or minimum 4hours. Preheat oven to 375F(190C) Divide cookie dough in half. Roll one half of the cookie dough into about 1/4 inch thick, between 2 pieces of parchment paper using rolling guides on each side of the dough.(2 painter's sticks glued together on each side, or 2 pieces of 1/4inch molding) Cut out as many cookies as you can. Place the cookies on a light colored baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Chill the cut outs in the fridge for about 15 minutes, or in the freezer 8 minutes. Bake for 9minutes, depending on the oven, turn the sheet once half way through the baking. Let the cookies cool on the baking sheet for 5-7 minutes, transfer to cooling rack. Store in the airtight container for up to 2 weeks or freeze undecorated cookies between pieces of wax paper in a large freeze safe container, for up to 2 months. Decorate cookies as desired with royal icing or other medium that you use. RECIPE BELOW! How to make Sugar Cookies! Sorry I haven't been posting as much, life is very busy with 3 kids these days. Thanks for watching! Not "the Best" but Best is my name ;) Sugar Cookie Recipe: Ingredients 1 cup of softened unsalted butter (227 grams) 1 and 1/2 cups of sugar (300 grams) 2 eggs room temperature 2 teaspoons of pure vanilla extract 3 and 1/2 cups of all purpose flour (450 grams) 1/2 teaspoon baking powder 1/4 teaspoon salt Method 1. In a stand mixer with a paddle attachment, beat the butter and sugar until light and fluffy 2. Add the eggs one at a time. Beating each time until just combined 3. Add vanilla extract and beat until combined 4. Mix baking powder, salt and flour. 5. Add flour mixture to butter mixture about 1/2 cup a time. 6. Turn mixer back on, and mix until everything is combined. Once your mixer can’t do anymore, mix with your hands until you have a smooth dough if needed. 7. Separate dough quarters and wrap each quarter in plastic wrap. You want each quarter to resemble a pancake for easy rolling. 8. Refrigerate for about one hour or until firm enough to roll. 9. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (177 degrees C) and place rack in center of oven. Line your baking sheets with parchment paper. 10. Remove one quarter of the chilled dough and, on a lightly floured surface, roll out the dough to a thickness of about 1/2cm using a floured rolling pin. Keep turning the dough as you roll, adding more flour if needed, making sure the dough does not stick to the counter. 11. Cut out desired shapes using a lightly floured cookie cutter and transfer cookies to baking sheet. 12. Place the baking sheets with the unbaked cookies in the refrigerator for a minimum of 15 minutes. This will help cookies retain their shape while baking. (I like to do an hour for more complicated shapes). 13. Bake for 10minutes. (Could be anywhere from 8-14minutes). It depends on the size of your cookie and your cookie sheet or even your oven! For smaller cookies I would start checking at 8 min. Cookies will be done when edges are "just" starting to brown. 14. Remove from oven and let cookies cool on baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack to finish cooling. 15. Once cooled, frost with royal icing. Mix flour, salt, baking powder and cardamom with a hand whisk and set aside. 2. In a large bowl, cream the sugar and butter (room temperature) till pale yellow and fluffy. Use a stand mixer with a paddle attachment or a hand mixer. 3. Add in the agave nectar and mix till combined. 4. Add room temperature eggs one at a time and beat till blended. 5. Add orange zest and vanilla bean paste and beat till combined. 6. Add flour, salt, baking powder, and cardamom to the batter and mix just till combined. 7. Divide dough in half, wrap in plastic and chill for 1 hour in the fridge. 8. Remove dough from fridge and let slightly soften before rolling 3/16” thick on a floured Silpat. Place rolled dough on a cookie sheet and freeze for 30 minutes. 9. Cut out shapes once the dough is firm. 10. Preheat oven to 350F/180C 11. Transfer cutout cookie dough to a parchment lined sheet and freeze for 15 minutes before baking. 12. Bake at 350F/180C for 9-10 minutes or until the edges begin to brown slightly. Rotate cookie sheets halfway through baking. 13. Cool cookies before decorating. Royal Icing - Decorates 4 dozen 3”/8cm cookies 900g,2 lbs icing sugar/ confectioner’s sugar 10 tablespoons meringue powder (I prefer Wilton’s) 180ml, ¾ cup water 1 teaspoon vanilla extract 1. With a hand whisk, blend the confectioner’s sugar and meringue powder in a large bowl or the bowl of a stand mixer. 2. Using the paddle attachment of the stand mixer or a hand mixer, combine most of the water with the dries. 3. Add the vanilla extract and incorporate on low speed. 4. Add the remaining amount of water and mix on low speed for 5 minutes. The royal icing should look whiter after five minutes and very thick. Don’t mix on high speed. Avoid incorporating air into the royal icing. This is the base for mixing various colors. Thin with small amounts of water for the perfect flooding consistency. 5. Have white, orange, yellow, black, light brown and orangish brown royal icing in a flood consistency. 6. Flood the panda and lion cookies with the white icing using a No. 4 piping tip. For the bear cookie, make 2 light brown circles for cheeks and then immediately flood the cookie with white icing using a No. 4 piping tip. This will allow the light brown cheeks to smoothly blend with the white icing. Flood the top of fox cookie with the orangish brown icing and then the lower half with white icing using a No. 4 piping tip. Let the first layer dry for 8 hours or overnight before moving on to the next layer of decorating. The drying times will vary depending on the humidity of the environment. 7. Lion – orange and yellow flood consistency for the lion’s mane using a No. 2 piping tip. Use black flood consistency icing and a No. 1 tip for the nose, mouth, and eyes. 8. Panda – add the eyes, nose, and mouth using black flood consistency icing and a No 2 piping tip. Use lime green food coloring and an artist brush to paint the cheeks. 9. Bear – using the light brown and a No. 2 tip pipe the snout in the center of the cookie and allow to dry for a few hours. When the snout is dry you can pipe the nose, mouth, whiskers, and eyes using black royal icing and a No. 1 piping tip. 10. Fox - When dry you can add the eyes, nose, mouth, and whiskers to the fox using black flood consistency icing and a No. 1 piping tip.

In a large bowl, whisk together the sugars, salt, and butter until a paste has formed with no lumps. Whisk in the egg and vanilla, beating until light ribbons fall off the whisk. Sift in the flour and baking soda, then fold the mixture with a spatula, being careful not to overmix too much. This will cause the gluten in the flour to toughen which will result in cakier cookies. Fold in the chocolate chunks evenly, then chill the dough for at least 30 minutes. For a more intense toffee-like flavor and deeper color, chill the dough overnight. The longer the dough rests, the more complex its flavor will be. Scoop the dough with an ice-cream scoop onto a parchment paper-lined baking sheet, leaving at least 4 inches of space between cookies and 2 inches of space from the edges of the pan so that the cookies can spread evenly. Bake for 12-15 minutes, or until the edges have started to barely brown. Cool completely, and enjoy! FULL RECIPE BELOW Gemma's Cinnamon Rolls (No Knead, No Mixer) Dough from ( INGREDIENTS Dough 3 1/2 cups (1 lb 1oz/ 470g) All-Purpose Flour 1/2 tablespoon salt 3/4 tablespoons dried yeast 1 cup (7oz/200g) milk ½ cups(3.5oz/100g) water 2 large eggs 1/4 cup (3oz/85g) honey 1/4 cup (2oz/60g) melted butter or vegetable oil For the Filling: 1/2 cup (4oz/120g) butter 1 1/4 cups ( 7 ½ oz /210g) packed light brown sugar 2 1/2 tablespoons ground cinnamon 1 cup (4oz/100g)toasted pecans Cream Cheese Glaze: 4 oz (110g ) Cream cheese, room temperature 1 cup (120g) Powdered sugar 1/4 cup (1/2 stick/ 2oz)) Butter, room temperature 1/2 Tsp Vanilla extract METHOD 1. To make the dough, combine all of the dry ingredients in a very large bowl. 2. In a separate jug add in the milk, water, honey and butter. Heat it in the microwave until it is warm (at blood temperature) and the butter has melted. Whisk in the eggs quickly. 3. Stir the wet into the dry to make a sticky dough. You can simply mix with a spoon until there are no flour lumps yet. Scrape down the dough from the sides of the bowl. 4. Cover the bowl, and let the dough rise for 2 hours at cool room temperature. It will triple in size 5. After this, REFRIGERATE THE DOUGH FOR AT LEAST 8 HOURS, preferrably over night. It can be refrigerated for up to 3 days before using. 6. When you're ready to make your cinnamon rolls, make the filling. Combine the butter, brown sugar and cinnamon in a bowl. Stir until smooth. Set aside. 7. Transfer the dough to a floured work surface, and roll it into a rectangle approximately 1/4" thick. It will be long so you can always do it in 2 goes. 8. Spread the filling over the dough, leaving a narrow margin around the edges uncovered. 9. Starting with a long edge, gently roll the dough into a log. Don't roll it too tightly; if you do, the centers of the buns will pop up as they bake. 10. Slice the rolls 2” thick and set them with their cinnamon face up 11. In a deep baking pan lined with parchment space the buns in the pan. (AT THIS POINT YOU CAN REFRIGERATE TO BAKE OFF THE FOLLOWING DAY IF YOU WISH) 12. Cover the pan, and allow the rolls to rise until they're have grown into each other and are puffed up, about 30-1 hour. (depending on how hot your kitchen is) (Towards the end of the rising time, preheat the oven to 375oF/ 190oC) 13. Uncover the pan, and bake the buns for 40 to 45 minutes, till they're a deep golden brown. Rotate the tray during baking so they can get golden brown all over. 14. While they are baking make your glaze: In a large bowl (or you can use a hand mixer) beat the cream cheese, butter, sugar and vanilla together with a whisk until well combined. 15. Remove the pan from the oven and let it rest for 20 minutes. Once cooled remove from the pan and onto a cooling rack . 16. Spread your cream cheese glaze generously over the cinnamon rolls, and devour immediately,

A simple chocolate chip cookie recipe. Blue Jean Chef Meredith Laurence teaches you how to make perfect chocolate chip cookies. Full cookie recipe below: Fore more info on the mixing bowls: For more episodes of The Basics: Follow Blue Jean Chef on Facebook: For more on the silicone liner: Chocolate Chip Cookie Ingredients: 8 ounces unsalted butter (2 sticks), room temperature ¾ cup granulated sugar 2 eggs 2 teaspoons vanilla extract ¾ cup packed brown sugar 2 cups all-purpose flour ¾ teaspoon baking soda 1 teaspoon salt 8 ounces dark chocolate chunks coarse sea salt (optional) Directions: 1. If you want cakier cookies, cream the butter in a stand mixer, or with an electric hand mixer until light and fluffy. Add the granulated and brown sugars and beat well. Add the eggs, one at a time, beating each one into the batter. Mix in the vanilla extract. 2. If you prefer a denser cookie, melt the butter in a skillet and cool completely to room temperature. Beat the eggs and granulated sugar in a stand mixer or with an electric hand mixer until the eggs reach the ribbon stage (the eggs will fall from the beaters in one smooth line, like a ribbon). Mix in the vanilla extract, brown sugar and the cooled melted butter. 3. Combine the flour, baking soda and salt in a bowl. Add the dry ingredients to the butter mixture, mixing only to combine slightly. Add the chocolate chunks and continue to mix just until there are no streaks of flour visible. Try not to over-mix at this stage. 4. Chill the cookie dough for 15 minutes or so in the refrigerator while you pre-heat the oven to 350ºF. 5. Place spoonfuls of the cookie dough onto a non-stick cookie sheet and bake in the oven for 12 to 14 minutes, or until the cookies are golden brown around the edges and soft in the center. 6. Remove from the oven and sprinkle with the coarse sea salt if desired. Cool and devour!

Cut out with a gingerbread man cutter, place on a parchment-lined cookie sheet and bake until golden, 12-14 minutes. Katie: Hi. I'm Katie Risnasi. Today I'm going to show you how to make Gingerbread Cookie Dough. This is probably my favorite cookie of all of the holiday cookies, so I'm very excited. I'm going to start with one stick of softened butter. So I just let the butter sit on the counter until it's nice and soft, about half an hour. And I'm going to start by creaming that, just until it's smooth. And because it's softened that should go very quickly. And it has. It's ready to go. So now I'm going to start adding in my other ingredients. So I have some brown sugar. And this is a third of a cup packed brown sugar. I have a lovely third of a cup of molasses, which is also known as the greatest thing ever. I'm obsessed with molasses. That goes right in. And now my spices. So I'm starting with cinnamon, nutmeg and ginger. You could play with that. I've had very good results with pumpkin pie spice, which is a nice blend of spices. But just as much or as little spice as you like. For me, it's the more the better, but it's up to you. A little touch of nutmeg. Some vanilla bean paste, which is my favorite. It's a little better than vanilla extract because you get all those vanilla bean seeds. Salt, very important in desserts, balancing out those sweet flavors, those rich flavors. And also one egg. Going right in. So I'm going to beat those together first, and then I'm going to add the rest of my dry ingredients. OK. So we're ready to add the rest of the ingredients. You can see everything is nice and smooth. And here I have two cups of all purpose flour, going right in. And a half a teaspoon of baking soda. So that's going to be the leavening ingredient in the cookies. You're going to beat those to combine. And this should go very quickly. And I'm going to get ready to roll out my dough. If you have time, you can let the dough chill once it's done for about half an hour until it's nice and firm. But if you don't have time, just get ready by flouring your surface. Not too much flour, but just enough. And I've got my rolling pin ready to go, and we're going to roll out our cookies. So my dough is ready. I'm going to pull all of those extra bits off of the paddle. Take my dough out here. And you can see it's nice and combined. I'm just going to go in with my hand and really pull it together, make sure everything from the bottom of the bowl is mixed in with everything on the top of the bowl, and just that your dough is smooth. And then turn it right out onto your counter. I'm messy already. But this is a great pliable dough to work with. And you can see once I start to bring it together, it's really nice and firm and smooth, and it's just going to be a pleasure to roll. So I'm just going to re-dust the surface, and go in with my rolling pin. And you don't want to roll these too thin. I like my Gingerbread Men to be a little bit on the chubby side. I'm looking for about a quarter inch thickness. You can go a little less, a little more, depending on your likes or dislikes. But keep in mind, the thinner the cookie, the more likely, especially if you're shipping them, or giving them to someone, and you're transporting them, the thinner they are the more likely that they will break on the way. So we're ready. I'm just going to take my cookie cutter, and a good trick is to always flour your cookie cutter a little bit before you go in to cut the cookies, so this way the cutter won't stick to the dough, and you won't lose any of these arms or legs when you go in. But just press down, all the way down to the edge and lift up. And when I cut, I'm going to cut these as close as possible, so this way I won't have too much dough to bring back together and re-roll afterwards. OK. So I think that's all I'm going to get without losing arms or legs here. So I'm just going to get rid of the scraps of dough. And again, you could definitely re-roll these. Don't feel like you have to lose those scraps. Those are perfect for rolling again. You'll get even more cookies out of it. A

Today I am going to show you how to make Chocolate Chip Cookies, mmm yummy, these chocolate chip cookies are soft, chewy, super yummy, really easy to make, chocolate chip cookies are my favorite cookie to make and eat. What is your favorite cookie? Drop a comment down below and let me know. Let’s get started. First preheat the oven to 350 degrees F. Then we start with 1 cup of softened butter, 1 half cup of white granulated sugar, 1 cup of packed brown sugar, okay now using a hand mixer or stand mixer, let’s cream this all together, once it is creamed together let’s go ahead and scrape down the sides, at this point we are going to add our eggs, one at a time, first large egg, now let’s add two teaspoons of vanilla extract, now we take 2 and a half cups of all purpose flour, we will add one tsp. of baking soda, on half tsp. of salt. Then we will go ahead and use a whisk or you can sift it together, and we will mix it all together. All right now let’s take our flour and we are going to just add about a third of it at a time, mix, alright add some more flour, now we want to scrape the sides as needed, add more flour, and then before I add the rest of the flour, at this step I am going to add 2 cups of chocolate chips, these are semi-sweet, you can you use milk chocolate as well, this equals about one package here in the States, I am going to mix those in. Okay, and then let’s add the rest of our flour, then one last scraping of the sides. Alright our cookie dough is done, and now what we are going to do is we need to separate our beaters and now time to clean off those beaters, and then you can just use your spatula, come in here and push them out. Alright once our cookie dough is done, it is time to form our cookies, I am using a cookie sheet with an Artisan Mat on top, this is a Silicone baking mat, really awesome, really love these silicon baking mats, they clean really easy, they last a really long time, they help to keep the cookies from getting burnt on the bottom, and uh, if you want to pick a couple of these up, I will put a link down below where you can get them, really awesome, I highly recommend them especially for cookies. So what we do is we take a spoon or ice cream scoop and we take some cookie dough, it’s about 2 tablespoons worth, and go ahead and drop it on there, and you can form it a little bit, with your hand if you want, just like that, whatever side you want to make, big ones, little ones, whatever you want to make, about an inch and a half apart. All right and then you bake these in the oven at 350 degrees for 8 to 10 minutes, depending on the size of the cookie, if you make them bigger, bake them a little longer, smaller a little shorter, until the edges are just slightly brown. All right so we cook them until the edges are just slightly brown right there, and then you take them out of the oven and let them sit on the cookie sheet to cool.

Cut out your cookie shapes (dipping cookie cutters in flour if necessary) *Place cookies on parchment lined baking sheets. Repeat process until there is no dough left. *Bake the cookies for 6-8 mins in pre-heated oven (350F). *Allow the cookies to cool completely before icing. Recipe for icing: 3-5 ounces of aquafaba (liquid from a can of chickpeas aka garbanzo beans) 1 1/2 cups powdered sugar (you can add more if you like it super sweet, but I wouldn't use more than 3 cups) 1 TSP vanilla extract *First mix 3-5 ounces of liquid from can of chickpeas with a hand mixer on low for 3 minutes *Add powdered sugar and vanilla extract and mix on low for another 3 minutes *And AGAIN mix for 3 minutes, but this time on a HIGH setting * By now you should see your icing thick and foamy. Up to you if you want to add food coloring to your icing. Beat butter using hand mixer or using a fork or spoon to cream the butter(if you’re using a spoon you need softened the butter first). Add sugar and beat or mix until mixture is well combined. 2. Add egg and vanilla mix until well incorporated. Add flour, mix until mixture turns into crumbs. 3. Place dough in a clean work area. Form the dough using your hand and divide the dough into two. Then shape the dough into a log. 4. Wrap dough in a plastic wrap and freeze or chill in the ref for 30 minutes or until the dough is firm. 5. Put it the toaster oven. Set timer to bake for 7-8 minutes (but if you bake for the 2nd, 3rd time the baking time will be shorter because the oven is already warm from the first baking). Turn toaster selector to bake from top to bottom heat. 8. Even if you set the timer on how long it should bake you still need to watch the whole time it is baking because toaster oven bake much faster than a regular or conventional oven. 9. Don’t leave what you’re baking, always keep your eyes on it. Even if it’s not time yet if you see that it’s already bake you can pull it out. If you want to brown it a bit you can bake it a little longer. 10. If you see the edges of the cookies turned light to golden brown it’s already done. Let it cool before storing in a container. Learn how to make chocolate chip cookies - Chocolate Chip Cookies ¾ cup Butter, melted (1 ½ cubes) ¾ cup Brown Sugar ½ cup Sugar 1 egg + 1 Egg Yolk 2 tsp. Vanilla extract 2 ¼ cup Flour 1 tsp. Baking Soda 1 ½ tsp. Cornstarch ¼ tsp. Salt 1 ½ cups Chocolate Chips For Coconut Pecan Chocolate Chip Cookies add: ½ cup Chopped Pecans 1 cup Shredded Coconut 1-Make sure you have all your ingredients and clean your work area. 2-Melt your butter and put it in a mixer. I like to use the Bosch but a KitchenAid or hand mixer will work as well. 3-Add the brown sugar and granulated sugar and mix again. 4-Add the egg and egg yolk, and vanilla. Watch the video to see how we separate the yolk. Mix. 5-Add the flour, baking soda, cornstarch, and salt in a pile in the mixer. Once you’ve added them all, give it a little stir so the baking soda, cornstarch and salt aren’t in one spot. 6-Add the chocolate chips and the Pecans and Coconut if you want to make Coconut Pecan Chocolate Chip Cookies. 7-If you are doing half regular Chocolate Chip Cookies and half Coconut Pecan Chocolate Chip Cookies then separate the dough and add ¼ cup Chopped Pecans and ½ cup Shredded Coconut to half of the dough. 8-Cover the dough and chill it in the fridge for 3 hours or up to 5 days. Do not skip the chilling process. Your cookies will turn out flat and not taste as good. 9-Clean up the mess. 10-When it’s time to make the cookies. Preheat the oven to 325 degrees. 11-Roll the cookie dough out into a tall cylinder. It doesn’t have to perfect or pretty, in fact, I like the top to be a little rough looking. I only put about 8 on a pan. 12-Bake the cookies for 11-12 minutes. They might look undercooked but take them out and let them cool on a pan. 13-You can also freeze the cookie balls and bake them later. I bake the frozen ones at 325 degrees for 17-18 minutes. 14-Eat, Share, Enjoy!!! ------------------------------------------ Be sure and subscribe to stay up to date with more cooking tips!
